I started my career in education as a secondary math teacher. After teaching middle school and high school math for 8 years and following my passion for helping new teachers be successful, I became a program facilitator in educational services coaching math teachers and running the BTSA program with an amazing team. Missing the school site, I then became a high school principal for 4 years and then middle school principal for 7 years. I was Director, Human Resources in Santa Monica-Malibu and now currently Assistant Superintendent, HR in Manhattan Beach USD. My dissertation focus was on the resiliency of secondary school principals. I love helping people and coaching others to be the best version of themselves. Laughter is key!
